The little Antelope Ground Squirrels can be such fun to watch. We put out a squash that had been well hidden in the garden and thus considered "gone by". It turned out to be a real source of amusement for the ground squirrels and for us. In no time flat they had chewed through the tough skin, hollowed out the inside and claimed temporary residency. This shot rather reminds me of drawings in some of my childhood storybooks. Flypaper Texture (Set 1).
